Ingredients
1 cup apple cider or juice
1 3 ounce package lemon jello
3/4 cup cold apple cider or juice
1 1/2 cups chopped unpeeled red apple
1 envelope unflavored gelatin
1/4 cup cold water
1 3 ounce package cream cheese, softened
1 cup sweetened apple sauce
2/3 cup undiluted Carnation Evaporated Milk
Instructions
Heat 1 cup apple cider or apple juice to boiling; remove from heat. Add lemon jello and stir until dissolved. Add 3/4 cup apple cider or juice and chopped apples. Pour into 5 1/2 cup ring mold. Chill until set. Soften unflavored gelatin in 1/4 cold water. Whip cream cheese and applesauce until fairly smooth. Pour into saucepan; stir in evaporated milk and softened gelatin. Heat over low heat until gelatin is completely dissolved; stir constantly. Cool at room temperature. Pour over firm cider layer. Chill until set, 2-3 hours. Unmold and serve.
