Banana Bread

Ingredients

1/2 Cup Butter at Room Temperature
1 Cup Sugar
2 Eggs
1 1/2 Cups Flour
1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
1 Teaspoon Salt
1 Cup Mashed Very Ripe Bananas
1/2 Cup Sour Cream
1 Teaspoon Vanilla
1 Cup Chopped Walnuts or Pecans

Instructions

Preheat Oven to 350°. Cream butter, sugar and eggs. Sift dry ingredients and combine with butter mixture. Blend well. Add bananas, sour cream and vanilla, stir well. Stir in nuts and pour into greased and floured 9x5x3 inch pan or several smaller pans. Bake for 1 hour. Turn out onto rack to cool. Makes 1 large loaf or 4 small loaves.
