Grilled Onions

Ingredients

6 Vadalia onions
6 beef bouillon cubes
butter
garlic salt
mozzarella cheese (shredded)

Instructions

Peel and core onions, score halfway down. Place beef bouillon cube, an ice cube, a pat of butter, and garlic salt in center of onion. Double foil wrap. Grill low (300 degrees) for 40 minutes. When almost done, add mozzarella cheese and grill until melted.

Notes

We usually cook onions until done then add cheese. Onions are hot enough for the cheese to melt and it is easier.
