Honey Nut Granola

Ingredients

2 1/2 cups oats, uncooked
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup sunflower nuts or chopped nuts
1/3 cup honey
1/3 cup butter or margarine - melted
1/4 cup bran or wheat germ
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup raisins, chopped dried apricots or chopped dates

Instructions

Preheat oven to 325°. Combine all ingredients, except raisins, mix well. Bake in lightly greased 13 x 9 inch baking pan at 325 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in raisins. Spread mixture onto ungreased cookie sheet to cool. Store in cool dry place or in refrigerator.
