Hot Jelly
Ingredients
1 cup hot jalapeno peppers (seeds and all)
1 medium bell pepper
1/4 cup vinegar
6 cups sugar
8 ounces Certo
3-4 drops green food coloring
Instructions
Put jalapeno peppers, bell pepper and vinegar in blender and blend. Put sugar in a saucepan and pour in blender mixture. Cook on low, stir to dissolve, boil slowly, skim off scum. Add 8oz Certo. Add 3 or 4 drops of green food coloring, bring back to a boil while stirring. Cool and pour into containers. Serve with cream cheese and crackers. Needs no refrigeration.
