Sweet Potatoes with Brown Sugar and Apricot Sauce

Ingredients
1/4 cup margarine
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 cup apricot nectar
2 teaspoons grated lemon rind
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
dash of nutmeg
4 or 5 medium sweet potatoes, cooked, peeled and cut in 1 inch slices
pecan halves (optional)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350º. Melt margarine in saucepan and add sugar, nectar, lemon rind and spices; heat to boiling and boil gently just a few minutes. Arrange potatoes in 12x8x2 inch baking dish, pour sauce over, sprinkle with pecans and bake for 30 minutes, or until potatoes are heated through and sauce is bubbly.
